    Her şeyi bildiği söylenen âmâ bir bilgeye oyun oynamak isteyen genç bir hatun avucunda tuttuğu kelebeğin canlı mı yoksa ölü mü olduğunu sorarak emeline ulaşacağını zanneder. Eğer bilge "canlı" derse kelebeği ezip öldürecek, "ölü" derse serbest bırakacaktır. An gelir ve kız bilgeye sorar; "Avucumdaki kelebek canlı mı, ölü mü?". Bilge cevap verir; "Senin ellerinde kızım, senin ellerinde!..."
